Ndamukong Suh Signs With Miami Dolphins

miami | 12:20 PM | |
According to reports, Suh has agreed to a gigantic $114 million dollar contract with $60 million of that guaranteed. The Lions were in negotiations with Suh till the end, but just couldn’t match the Dolphins offer and the fact that Miami is a much nicer place to call home.
The official proposal and contract, which would make Suh one of the NFL’s highest-paid players, must be negotiated when the market opens at 4 p.m. ET on Tuesday.

Based off the parameters, Suh also will get $60 million in the first three years on a contract that is expected to average $19 million over the six years of the deal, sources said.

This is no doubt a big catch for the Dolphins and gives their defense more credibility right from the jump. The Lions had a very solid defense with Suh holding it down as the anchor, but expect their own defense to have a much different look now that they lose Suh.
